JETS EXPLAINED

Hi admirals! After a long break during this pandemic crisis I decided to retake this blog and write again to help new admirals with this awesome game.

This time I will talk about the jets, what are they made for and how to use them.

Aircrafts are the most important unit in this game after the ships, some may think the opposite. Gunship Battle cataloged them in 4 grades and 3 purposes.

When you build a jet you are making not only 1 plane but a jet squadron which is composed of 4 jets. So, when you send and airstrike with 3 jets you are actually sending 3 squadrons, that means 12 jets.

Grades

There are 4 grades of jets squadrons: Normal, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The higher the grade the better their performance.

Normal

Here you will see the most basic and old planes like:
  • F-4 Phantom II
  • A-7 Corsair II
  • Flogger 23
  • Harrier

Rare

This grade shows better jets than normal, however they are still pretty basic.
  • Sukhoi Su-27 named Flanker 27
  • Mirage 2000 called M-2000
  • F-18 Hornet
  • MiG-29 named Fulcrum 29

Epic

These jets will be your partners among with the legendaries ones. High levels of these planes will help you a lot. Here you will find:
  • F-15 Eagle
  • F-14 Super Tomcat
  • Sukhoi Su-33 named Flanker 33
  • F-18 Super Hornet
  • F-16 Fighting Falcon

Legendary

Legendary jets are the strongest ones and is the grade where Devs are adding new planes. These are the legendary jets available:
  • Rafale - M named RF-M
  • F-16 FF Desert Falcon
  • Eurofighter Typhoon named EF2000
  • Kai FA-50 named KFA-50
  • F-35 Lighting II
  • F-15 Strike Eagle
  • A-10C Thunderbolt II also called Warthog
  • MiG-31 named Foxhound 31
  • F-14 Tiger
  • Panavia Tornado IDS
  • Sukhoi Su-57 named PF-57
  • Northrop F-20 Tigershark
  • F-35 Thunderstorm
  • Griffin 39
  • Eurofighter Typhoon Ghost called EF Ghost 🆕

Purpose

In this game we have 3 main purposes: Anti / Aircrafts (A/A), Anti / Ground (A/G) and Anti / Ship (A/S). All jets in the game are multirole, that means you can use an A-10 (normally an A/G jet) to attack another plane (A/A), however, each jet is stronger in one role. Lets see the planes by roles:

Anti / Air Jets

Eurofighter Typhoon

These are the jets that you should use to attack another planes. For example when doing ASG. A/A jets available:
  • PF-57
  • Tigershark
  • Thunderstorm
  • F-14 Tiger
  • Strike F-15EA
  • EF2000
  • KFA-50
  • F-15EA
  • F-14ST
  • Flanker 33
  • Fulcrum 29
  • Flanker 27

Anti / Ship

Rafale - M
As it name says, they are useful against ships. You will need A/S jets if you are fighting against another admiral carrier or armada fleets. Use them with A/A jets to reduce your opponent air and fleet power. A/S jets available:
  • Foxhound 31
  • F-35 LT II
  • RF-M
  • Super F-18H
  • M-2000
  • EF Ghost

Anti / Ground

A-10C Thunderbolt II
My favorites jets, they are used to kill the enemy's AFVs. High levels of A/G jets can obliterate even a royal army base making it vulnerable to your ships and afv attacks. Use these jets to farm bases easier, airstrike the base first then send your ship or rally attack. A/G jets available:
  • Griffin 39
  • IDS
  • A10C
  • Desert F-16FF
  • F-16FF
  • F-18H
